We are proud to have collaborated in the creation of the packaging for the promotional campaign “4.000 faces of Melinda“: 4.000 fruit growers of the Consortium of Val di Non who have given their availability, 1.000 shots of the faces and all accompanied by a different phrase.

“From the moment the people from Melinda told us about the project, I knew how extraordinary it was. – says Fausto Ferretti, Managing Director of Sandra Spa – Giving each package a face is a brilliant idea. I can only imagine how stimulating and exciting it would be for every fruit grower to be able to see himself or herself at the point of sale. To realise this project in an industrial way has been a huge task. I think the reproduction of images combined with so many slogans had never been done before. It was an experience that challenged the whole chain: Melinda, our entire organisation and our technology suppliers, with a special mention to Barberán s.a. for its support on the software component of the variable data. This was an extraordinary example of teamwork that achieved a splendid result in record time.

Our technical team was able to manage the complexity of the variable data, the excellent level of print definition, the refinement of colour rendering while maintaining excellent productivity.

A highly innovative printing platform was used, with single-pass post-print digital technology, capable of working in hexachrome (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Orange and Violet) and able to create ever-changing graphics from a database of 1,000 records (one fixed base and three variables).

In a very short time, about 1 million packaging items were produced in total respect for the environment and all safety regulations, as the packages are completely recyclable in the paper chain and suitable for contact with foodstuffs.

This initiative is an expression of our identity: customer orientation, innovation and high technology, experience, know-how and maximum productivity.
